Neocogito is Selected to Lead Retail Pricing and Item Master File Project - June 2002[New!]

Save Mart Supermarkets, in Modesto, California, has selected Neocogito to provide project leadership for a strategic project that promises improved item data integrity, faster, more powerful and more effective rules base price management between the corporate Host and the Store Systems. This project also includes the introduction of Web based project collaboration using eRoom.


Neocogito is Selected to Define Web Business Requirements and Technologies - March 2002[New!]

Save Mart Supermarkets, in Modesto, California, has selected Neocogito to conduct a two phase analysis. The first phase requires extensive interviewing and gathering of Web-related business requirements which are then presented back to Save Mart in a comprehensive and consistent format sufficient for making a decision on whether the project should be pursued and further. The second phase defines an appropriate Web technology architecture, given the legacy systems and resources, and the proposed projects, a roadmap proposes a sequence for acquiring and employing theses technologies.

Save Mart is a major player in the Central California grocery marketplace with approximately 100 stores in two formats (conventional and box stores), private label products, warehousing and refrigerated trucking.

Neocogito Establishes Key Offshore Alliances - June 2001

Neocogito is excited to have established alliances with two outstanding companies - Recognos (Romanian development team with strengths in highly interactive designs and Java applications) and Diligent Team (Indian development team with strengths in full lifecycle development of Java applications). These two companies bring a quantity of applications development horsepower and reasonable (offshore) rates. This is very complimentary with Neocogito's expertise in the definition of requirements, design, architecture and project management.


Neocogito Establishes iTeam Collaboration Demonstration Server - June 2001

Neocogito is a enthusiastic proponent of collaboration, both synchronous and asynchronous, via the Web. To that end, Neocogito has established an iTeam server to demonstrate the use of Documentum's iTeam (powered by their eContent Server). This was used in a partnership venture to explore the definition of a protocol specifically intened for Web-based synchronous and asynchronous collaboration.

Neocogito Defines Documentum's  Personalization Roadmap - May 2001

Neocogito role was to facilitate the production implementation of Documentum's Web Content Management Edition.  This included project definition and planning, along with infrastructure training and turnover.  The second element of this engagement was to define a functional and technical roadmap that included functional requirements, high-level UI definition, technical architectures for content attribution, personalization, lightweight single sign-on and dynamic content delivery.

Neocogito Becomes Documentum Partner - April 2001

Neocogito has become a Documentum System Integrator partner with and emphasis on Documentum's Web Content Management edition and on the iTeam Knowledge Management and Collaboration platform.


Neocogito Completes CIX Project for Documentum - September 2000
Neocogito's assignment was to twofold:
  1. Analyze and document Documentum's As-Is Architecture.
  2. Define a mid range architecture to support Documentum's business vision and to provide a plan for incrementally implementing that architecture.

The implementation of the first phase included the deployment of BEA's Web Logic Commerce Server and Microsoft's Active Directory Server (LDAP) to total renovate the Order entry and tracking process for Documentum worldwide.


Neocogito Completes New Web Site Launch for Documentum - September 1999

Neocogito's role was to provide technical guidance and program management disciplines to a project driven by Documentum's Marketing team. The primary web agency was Razorfish and their role was to provide web architecture and design including new imaging and branding for Documentum. The technical aspect of the site launch consisted of a whole new platform utilizing Documentum's powerful object relational docbase as the content engine.


Neocogito Completes New Web Site Launch for thap! - September 1999
Neocogito's assignment began with a creative brief and concluded with the creation and launch of thap! web site design, graphics and content timed just prior to their first round of funding.

Thap! is a pre-IPO ASP that has pioneered the design and delivery of integrated health and absence management programs in American industry. In the 1980s, thap!'s founder, Dr. Phillip Polakoff led legislative efforts to help the business community integrate coverage across different programs (group health, workers' comp, etc.) thap!'s Internet applications embody the principles and goals of integrated health and disability management for employees and their dependents.


Neocogito Completes Series of Assignments for ClearInk - July 1999
Neocogito functioned as Strategic Consultant member of the ClearInk organization in subcontractor role on a wide array of assignments ranging from creative brief of PeopleSoft, developing a competitive market and traffic analysis briefs for Siemens, analyze promotional opportunities and mechanisms for Intraware, to contributing towards in-house methodologies.
  • The PeopleSoft Creative brief provided site architecture for a multilingual international presence driven by the FutureTense content management system.
  • The gazoontite role as one of technology and system integration consulting as they looked to advance to a more richly functioning and integrated suite of portal and eCommerce services to their consumers customers.

Neocogito Completes Project Blueprint for Adecco - April 1999

Neocogito's assignment was to twofold:
  1. Analyze and document Adecco's As-Is Architecture.
  2. Define a long range architecture to support Adecco's business vision and to provide a plan for incrementally implementing that architecture.

Project Blueprint provided an architectural design that included a custom information bus that designed to allow a very complex migration of front office systems for 100's of branch offices.
